Teva Men's Wapta Mid WP Boot
CUSTOMER REVIEW
EDIT. I like the ways these fit, but the right boot developed a small tear in the waterproof lining on the inside. They work fine in snow and slush, but I rode my bike with them in a steady rain, and my right foot was thoroughly soaked. To do a warranty, I have to send them back to Teva ($20 for shipping) in hopes of getting online store credit since they don't sell this version anymore. That means, I paid $50 on Amazon, and extra $20 to ship them back, in hopes of getting a small credit to buy a more expensive shoe on their own website. I feel stuck with them at this point even though they don't do what I had hoped they would. Oh well. Just be warned that the inside waterproof lining is either defective in my case, or really weak and tears easily.
I bought these for biking in the rain and the snow. They do not breathe well, so I do not expect to wear them in warm weather. For what I am doing they are perfect though. They have good traction. They fit just right. The style is okay, but that's fine by me. The way the tongue sits against my ankle is bothersome, so I have to pull it away from my foot, but otherwise, I don't have any complaints. Great buys.
