I found lots of black, patent-leather, low-heeled shoes out there (on the Internet), but these were the best all-around shoe in that category. I received them in perfect condition and on time. I am not in the military, but I figured I could count on a high-quality, well-fitting and good looking shoe that people in uniform would wear, and this is the shoe! I wore it the first time to an all-evening event, and my feet were comfortable the whole time! Made in the U.S.A.too!
