I bought these last fall just prior to heading off to a conference/convention where I had to spend hours a day on my feet while still looking professional. Now, I realize this is the norm for millions of woman, but for me, it was something of a novel experience as I mostly work from home, rarely have to dress well, and in any case, at nearly 5'10, have managed to avoid heels most of my life. But on this occasion, and a follow-up event a few weeks later during which I was literally on my feet for 11 hours straight, I needed a shoe that looked good but wouldn't cripple me. I found it in the Clarks Levee Delta. From the first wearing, they just molded to my foot (10B) and I hardly noticed they were there, much less that they were adding a couple inches to my height. On the long day/night, by around the 9th hour my feet were a bit sore, but not so much from the shoes as from the hours, the constant movement, and from my not being accustomed to wearing any sort of heel. In another pair of shoes, I'm sure I'd have slipped them off hours earlier!
