Wanna take a walk? WALK AWAY from these shoes. The craftmanship, materials and quality of these shoes are among the WORST I have ever experienced. Yes, they are handsome and look shiny and solid, but in TEN MINUTES of attempting to walk in these, I knew $100 was wasted, plus blisters and suffering ahead. Bates Shoe Company should be ASHAMED of the abysmal quality, horrid construction and shameful end product. Has ANYONE at Bates WORN their shoes? I have narrow feet, and the length and width are right, but the manufacturing is so warped that it is IMPOSSIBLE to walk without the shoe moving up and down with no comfort It is as if they cut a model or a mold of what a shoe looks like and then glued it together. Just horrendous!
