Nevermind the utilitarian look, these shoes are SO comfortable. I would not take them off after trying them on. I have wide feet (bunions) and plantar fasciitis and have a really hard time finding shoes for my work at a restaurant. The combination of the broad front of the shoe and the more narrow back is amazing for my feet. And the non-slip soles are really sturdy. I am so happy with it! Well worth the price.
